DIPLOMATIC STAFF
On 29th September,
2008, the first batch of Officers posted
to the Lusaka Mission, which comprised
of the Head of Chancery (FSO A3), Mr.
Senalor Yawlui and the Accounting
Officer (FSO B1), Mrs. Abigail
Kumordzie, arrived in the country. They
were followed on 13th October, 2008 by
an FSO A2, Mrs. Worwornyo Agyeman and
the Confidential Secretary (FSO C1A),
Mrs. Margaret Wilson. An Officer with
the Ghana Mission in Pretoria, Mr.
Samuel Adotey Anum (FSO A2) was
temporarily assigned to the Mission from
23rd October to 24th December, 2008, to
set up the Consular Section, which
subsequently became headed by Mr.
Charles Baah, FSO A1, who arrived in
Lusaka on 23rd December, 2008 from the
Department of Research, Accra. Mr. Baah
left Lusaka on 26th November, 2009 on
reposting to the Ghana Mission in Rome
after handing over to his successor, Mr.
Philip Kobla Acquah (FSO A3), who
arrived at post on 19th November, 2009.
Meanwhile, the Ministry’s decision to
re-assign Mr. Senalor Yawlui to the
Ghana Embassy in Berlin was effected on
03rd September, 2009 when the officer
left Lusaka for his new post.
HEAD OF MISSION
The High
Commissioner-Designate, Dr. W.G.M.
Brandful, arrived in Lusaka on 20th
October, 2008 and presented his Letters
of Credence, appointing him as High
Commissioner of the Republic of Ghana to
the then Acting President of the
Republic of Zambia, H.E. Mr. Rupiah
Bwezani Banda on 23rd October, 2008.
